Excursions 1: Half-day

Set off on a hike to Tehaatiki: depart from the hotel with a guide and head towards the caldera on the other side of Taiohae Bay. Explore the village's key landmarks, including the cathedral, the local arts and crafts center, and the fishermen's dock. This hike along the island's ridges offers stunning views of Taiohae Bay and the southern coast of Nuku Hiva. Watch for marine and land birds, wild goats, and, with a bit of luck, you may even spot majestic manta rays.

Excursions 2: Full day

On the island's north coast, you'll take a 4x4 to Hatiheu, then hike to Anaho to enjoy the rich panoramas and vegetation (1-hour walk one way). Once in Anaho, relax on its white sandy beach and enjoy a traditional Marquesan lunch included at Restaurant Kaniho.
